Repair props and furniture as needed. Load in pieces to rehearsal spaces and performance spaces. Reorganize storage bins and other duties as assigned.

Assistant Head of Props: Des Moines Metro Opera. Indianola, IA. April 2023 - July 2023 Duties include: Assist the Props Head in the preparation, construction, and repair of properties in all Mainstage and 2nd Stage Series productions. Supervise the Properties crew (Props Artisans and Interns) in the building or modification of all properties. Build and/or alter requested props and furniture pieces. Return stock and borrowed items to proper companies. Work with the Head of Properties during the run of the show to supervise changes or repairs made to all props. Assist In cleaning the properties area at the end of the season, including returning all stock to storage.

August 2022-November 2022 Duties include: Working with co-properties master, attending production meetings, meeting with other departments to collaborate on certain projects, obtaining rehearsal props, creating/buying/pulling hand props, set dressing and furniture for the production, keeping track of funds, creating props bible, load in and load out show, respond to any questions regarding props during the shows run, assign projects to shop.

May 2022- August 2022  Duties include: Create new props for assigned shows, pull and repair props for assigned shows, pull rehearsal props, act as run crew for assigned shows, act as a fill in for crew members, load in and load out all shows, act as a puppeteer for giant serpent in The Magic Flute, and other duties as assigned.
